In a split-type system the power electronics sit in one cabinet and the charging points are separate, slim terminals connected by DC cable. The cabinet allocates its output dynamically across the connected circuits, so capacity follows the vehicles that are actually plugged in rather than being fixed to each bay.
That is what makes high site power practical. Instead of installing several independent high-power chargers — each sized for a peak that rarely occurs — one 800 kW cabinet feeds up to sixteen circuits and delivers full power to whichever bays are occupied. The four ratings of 600, 640, 720 and 800 kW share the same cabinet footprint of 1900 × 900 × 1950 mm.
Three terminal types can be mixed on one cabinet. Single-gun fast-charging terminals deliver up to 300 A. Dual-gun terminals serve two vehicles from one pedestal at up to 600 A. Single-gun liquid-cooled terminals also reach 600 A but carry it through a thinner, lighter cable — the practical choice for heavy vehicles and for public bays where drivers handle the gun themselves.
Constant power is held across DC 300–1000 V, so high-voltage vehicle architectures receive full rated output. Cooling is intelligent variable-speed air cooling, which keeps noise and auxiliary consumption down at partial load. The system is rated IP55, operates from -30 °C with controlled derating to +70 °C, and is designed to GB 39752-2024, GB 44263-2024, GB/T 18487.1-2023 and the related NB/T and GB/T charging standards.
