A site wants four 240 kW chargers. The utility offers a connection that supports two. The upgrade costs more than the chargers and takes eighteen months. The project stops.

What is in the cabinet
Every capacity is built on the same platform: 341Ah LiFePO₄ cells, an intelligent Battery Management System, integrated fire protection, air-cooled thermal management and an IP55 outdoor enclosure rated from -20°C to +55°C. Communication is over CAN, RS485 or Ethernet, with optional EMS software for remote monitoring and optimisation.
Four capacity classes:
- 100-120 kWh — small commercial sites, telecommunications, retail, backup power
- 215 kWh — commercial buildings, EV charging stations, manufacturing
- 261 kWh — industrial facilities, microgrids, higher-capacity C&I projects
- Custom — 500 kWh, 750 kWh, 1 MWh, multi-MWh and containerised systems
Why LiFePO₄, and why 341Ah
Lithium iron phosphate is not the highest-energy-density chemistry available. It is the one we would want sitting in an unattended cabinet in a car park for fifteen years. It runs cooler, tolerates abuse better and does not carry the thermal runaway profile of higher-density alternatives. For stationary storage, where weight and volume matter far less than they do in a vehicle, that trade is straightforward.
The 341Ah cell format is the current generation. Fewer cells for the same capacity means fewer connections, fewer failure points and less balancing work for the BMS.
What storage actually does for a charging site
Demand charge reduction. Commercial tariffs bill on peak demand, not just consumption. A battery that covers the peaks can cut that line item substantially — often the fastest route to payback.
Grid connection deferral. The battery supplies the difference between what the grid delivers and what the chargers draw. Sites get built at the available connection size instead of waiting for an upgrade.
Renewable self-consumption. Solar generated at midday charges vehicles at 7pm rather than being exported at a low tariff.
Backup power. For facilities where an outage is expensive, the same asset earns twice.
Modular by design
Systems start at a single cabinet and expand by connecting more. A site can commission 215 kWh now and reach 1 MWh over three years without replacing anything already installed.
